    • Counsel for national insurance brokerage firm in lawsuit alleging misappropriation of trade secrets by independent sales representative. Settled following favorable ruling for client on motion for injunctive relief

    • Defended real estate foreclosure law firm through subpoena enforcement action and in a class action lawsuit challenging fees and costs charged in statewide foreclosure proceedings

    • Obtained defense verdict and award of attorneys’ fees and costs for commercial tenant following a trial to the court on the landlord’s unlawful attempt to evict the tenant

    • Defended hard money lender in arbitration by borrower alleging breach of contract and business torts. Obtained defense verdict, including award of attorney fees.

    • Represented commercial lenders in foreclosure proceedings throughout Colorado.

Adam Aldrich has a broad practice that includes acting as corporate and personal counsel, including extensive litigation and transactional experience in the areas of business, corporate, real estate, construction, and employment law.

Adam maintains an active and successful litigation practice in Colorado’s state and federal trial and appellate courts. He has extensive experience litigating complex commercial, real estate, construction, and employment cases. As lead counsel he has tried to verdict cases involving contract disputes, entity ownership disputes, antitrust claims, residential and commercial construction defect claims, employment claims, business torts, collection matters, and real estate leasing, disclosure, title and easement disputes.

In addition to his litigation practice, Adam acts as outside general counsel to several private corporations, and as personal counsel to high-net-worth individuals. As outside general counsel, Adam provides strategic and operational legal guidance on a variety of issues, including business partnerships, corporate structures and asset protection, business transactions and due diligence, contract review, drafting and negotiation, employment contracts, employment actions, protecting confidential business information, contract enforcement, and risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.

Adam has extensive experience involving real property transactions, including commercial and residential leasing, commercial real estate acquisition and divestiture, easements and rights-of-way, foreclosures and loan workouts, and financing and hard-money lending.

Adam is a Colorado native who grew up on the Western Slope. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Denver College of Law, where he was an editor and a published author in the Denver University Law Review. During law school, Adam was the recipient of Academic Excellence Awards for outstanding academic achievement in legal writing and trial advocacy.

Adam was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 2008 and in Texas in 2018. He has been recognized for several years by Super Lawyers as a top-rated business litigation attorney and by Martindale-Hubbell for his high ethical standing. Adam was an elected member and officer of the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Section Executive Council for the period 2019-2024. During his time in practice, Adam has volunteered his time and legal experience to charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, Mile High United Way, Metro Volunteer Lawyers, and the Faculty of Federal Advocates Pro Bono Program.
